Stress can be resulted in several ways. It can result due to coping with the demands of daily life. One can suffer from stress due to certain kind of fear or change. A little stress in daily life cannot harm. However, too much of stress is not good.

It can cause a lot of mental as well as physical problems. One may suffer from headaches, backaches, irritability, sleeplessness, stomach problems, colds as well as depression. College life is wonderful. It is like a golden period to those who are completing their studies. This period is to enjoy and chill out. So beat out that stress and enjoy your life to the fullest.

Here are certain techniques you can use in order to beat the stress in your college life.
a) Time management
You should find the perfect balance between course work, important projects, socializing and studying. You need to know when to sleep, work, play and enjoy. Try to keep a note book or planner. You can also use a software program in order to keep track of important dates, work schedules, project deadlines etc. Planning ahead is the key to stress release. Also avoid procrastination.

b) Goal setting
This is a great stress buster. You need to set some realistic goals, divide them further in to smaller ones and focus on accomplishing them.

c) Priorities
Set your priorities and focus of them one-on-one.

d) Find solitude
You need to spend some for yourself with yourself. This will give you ample time to think and set.

e) Work out
No matter how busy you are, find some time to exercise. This will keep your body in shape and keep stress out of your life.

f) Healthy food
Focus on a healthy diet. You should focus on a healthy diet in order to keep your body in good state and mind away from bad thoughts.

g) Get enough sleep
You should at least get 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. This will let you freshen up and also provide you the energy to undertake difficult task. Good sleep is the key to relaxation and keeps stress at bay.
